- Early Morning:
- Start your journey from Mumbai or Pune by local transport (train/bus) to reach Kasara.
- From Kasara, take another local transport (ST bus or shared jeep) to Bari village, the base village for the Kalsubai trek.
- Morning to Afternoon:
- Begin trekking from Bari village towards Kalsubai peak.
- The trail passes through lush green forests and rocky patches, which can be slippery due to monsoon rains.
- Enjoy the scenic views and seasonal waterfalls along the way.
- Take breaks as needed to rest and capture the beauty around.
- At the Summit:
- Reach the summit of Kalsubai after a challenging ascent.
- Take in panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and valleys, often shrouded in mist during the monsoon.
- Afternoon to Evening:
- Descend back to Bari village, carefully navigating the slippery trails.
- Reach the base village by late afternoon.
